A delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented Serbia’s position as a regional economic leader at the international technology conference eMerge Americas in Miami, Florida.
The Serbian delegation, led by Secretary-General Dušan Kozarev, took the opportunity to engage in numerous meetings on the sidelines of the event, assessing that the country’s position would be further reinforced by the upcoming launch of a direct air route between Belgrade and Miami.
Key results of the Serbian economy were presented to interlocutors, with a particular focus on the growing IT industry and the numerous benefits of investing in Serbia.
Special emphasis was placed on the modern vision of the policies of the President of the Republic and the Government of the Republic of Serbia, crowned by the Specialised Expo 2027 which Serbia will host.
eMerge Americas has for years attracted thousands of representatives from the IT, trade, education and government sectors from the US and across the world, including companies such as Amazon, Delta, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley.
The conference also brings together representatives of state institutions, including local and federal US authorities, the Hungarian Innovation Agency, the Government of Spain and others.
Various panel discussions during the conference focused on innovations and the further development of international economic cooperation, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
