At a proposal of the COVID-19 Crisis Response Team, the Serbian government adopted new measures at today's session in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus and protect the health of citizens.
The new measures refer to the City of Belgrade, bearing in mind the specifics of the epidemiological situation.
The work of all bars and restaurants and night clubs is limited, without exception, from 11 pm to 6 am the next day.
In all closed spaces, without exception, it is mandatory to wear protective masks, while respecting the physical distance of 1.5 meters.
Also, it is mandatory to wear protective masks on public urban and suburban transport and on intercity transport.
For non-compliance with the measure of obligatory wearing of a protective mask on public transport or indoors, a fine in the amount of RSD 5,000 is prescribed for every natural person who violates this measure.
The government has also decided to ban gatherings in public places indoors for more than 100 people, and in open spaces for more than 500 people.
During any gatherings indoors or outdoors, it is necessary to respect a physical distance of 1.5 meters.
All measures for the City of Belgrade are in force in next two weeks, or until 18 July specifically.
The Serbian government appeals once more to all citizens to respect the restrictions and recommendations, act responsibly and take care of their health and the health of their loved ones.
The Serbian government and the COVID-19 Crisis Response Team will continue to monitor with the greatest attention the daily development of the epidemiological situation in the Republic of Serbia and inform the citizens about everything.
