The government adopted at today’s session the Bill on the establishment and functioning of the cohesion policy management system.
The bill envisages the creation of a system for the efficient planning, management and monitoring of funds under the EU cohesion policy. The main purpose of the bill is to enable the preparation of documents and procedures to enable access to EU cohesion funds, in accordance with obligations that Serbia undertakes during membership negotiations.
The government also adopted the Bill amending the Law on Notaries Public, as well as amendments to the Decree on occupational safety and health at temporary or mobile construction sites.
Furthermore, the government awarded monetary prizes to athletes Dragan Ristić, Borislava Perić Ranković, Nada Matić, Nebojša Đurić, Željko Dimitrijević and Mitar Palikuća, who won medals at the Paralympic Games held from 28 August to 8 September 2024 in Paris.
The athletes won six medals: one gold, three silver and two bronze. The prize money for the gold medal is €200,000, silver €100,000 and bronze €60,000 in dinar equivalent. Prizes in the same amounts were also awarded to the athletes’ coaches.
