The Decree stipulates that beneficiaries of old-age, early old-age, disability and family pensions, starting from the one for December 2024 until the pension for November 2025, including the pension for November 2025, will receive monthly amounts alongside pensions of up to RSD 65,716.70.
The government adopted a Conclusion instructing the Ministry of Education, in accordance with the legally established competencies, to ensure that the winter break for the 2024/2025 school year is organised equally for primary and secondary schools throughout the country, so that the first semester ends on Monday, 23 December 2024 and the second semester begins on Monday, 20 January 2025.
Government members adopted the Conclusion recommending to employers in Serbia to allow their employees not to work on Christmas Eve.
Employers in Serbia have been advised to allow Catholics and members of Christian religious communities that observe religious holidays according to the Gregorian calendar to have the day off on Christmas Eve, 24 December 2024, and Orthodox Christians who observe religious holidays according to the Julian calendar to have the day off on 6 January 2025.
Government members adopted the Conclusion on the consent for the Ministry of Health to take all measures within its competence to employ the 100 best graduates of medical faculties and 200 graduates of secondary medical schools in healthcare institutions in Serbia, in accordance with the personnel plans of healthcare institutions and the financial plan of the Serbian Health Insurance Fund.
The Government adopted the Decree on the conditions and procedure for establishing a trial run for the purpose of conducting road traffic on state roads.
The Decree emphasises that a trial run is allowed exclusively for state roads that meet all safety requirements, and that it can last for a maximum of one year.
