The government members also adopted the Decree on the Establishment of the Grant Programme for the Purchase of Minibuses for the Transportation of the Rural Population in the Territory of the Republic of Serbia for 2025, the implementation of which will provide for the procurement of 17 minibuses to connect 264 villages in Serbia.
The government adopted the Decree on the Proclamation of the Canyon of the Vučjanka River Natural Monument, which is one of the most beautiful canyons in Serbia, thus placing an additional 49 hectares under protection.
This natural monument, which, due to its extreme inaccessibility, has managed to maintain its original form without any anthropogenic impact, is located in the territory of the city of Leskovac, in the area of Southern Pomoravlje, and regimes of the first, second and third degree of protection have been established over this area.
In addition to the great importance of the Vučjanka River, originating from Mount Kukavica, the uniqueness of this site is represented by 52 tree species, of which 10 are endemic, rare, relict and endangered, as well as 11 species of amphibians, of which 10 species are protected, nine species of reptiles, 60 species of birds and ichthyological species, such as brown trout and barbel, which are typical indicators of a healthy and unpolluted environment.
The government also adopted several documents on cooperation with the government of Italy in the fields of finance, economy, science, tourism and sports.
