The government adopted a series of decisions, conclusions and rulings at today’s session, including the Conclusion on naming the Novi Sad-Ruma-Šabac motorway after Svetozar Miletić, the prominent Serbian figure and one of the greatest advocates for the rights of Serbs in Vojvodina.

The cabinet also adopted the Conclusion declaring the Pannonian Power Transmission Corridor project as a construction project of special significance for the Republic of Serbia, given that the construction of the planned energy facilities will significantly increase the available transmission capacity at the Serbian-Hungarian border and enable the evacuation of energy produced from renewable sources in the Bačka region.
The project for the construction of a recycling yard with accompanying facilities in Zlatibor in the Municipality of Čajetina was also declared a project of significance for Serbia.
The construction of the recycling yard represents a profitable investment in the long term, which will bring economic, environmental and social benefits.
The sale of recyclable materials (plastic, metal, paper and glass) can generate revenue for the local budget, while also encouraging employment by creating new jobs for workers in the recycling yard and waste logistics.
