Vučević pointed out that in the last 12 years, Serbia has worked intensively on strengthening relations with the United States, especially in the context of regional stability and the fight against terrorism and economic development, and will continue to do so in the future.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the signing of the Cooperation Agreement with the United States in the field of the energy sector, bearing in mind that energy stability and the implementation of the Green Agenda are important priorities for Serbia.
He pointed out that Serbia is interested in attracting US investments, and invited companies from the United States to participate in the specialised exhibition Expo 2027, which represents an exceptional opportunity to promote Serbia and its market.
Murphy stated that the United States provides support in matters of security and regional stability, initiatives that contribute to peace and stability in the region, as well as in the process of Serbia’s European integration.
The Staff Director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee of the US Senate pointed out that the country supports the dialogue and implementation of what was agreed within the framework of the Brussels Agreement, which represents the right way to achieve a compromise solution.
He stressed the importance of economic cooperation and emphasised the importance of programmes and initiatives for attracting US investments in Serbia, which include support for small and medium-sized enterprises and infrastructure development.
