Prime Minister Miloš Vučević today hosted a reception for students awarded at global and European competitions, handing them recognitions for achieved results.
At the reception at the Palace of Serbia, 31 students were awarded for results achieved in international competitions in the fields of informatics, chemistry, physics, mathematics, geography and arts.
Vučević congratulated the students on their successes and emphasised that by awarding these recognitions, the state wishes to thank them for their accomplishments, highlighting that they represent the best of Serbia.
He urged the awarded students to quickly engage and help their country become a better place to live after completing their education.
The Prime Minister recalled that this year, the Young Talent Fund has awarded over 1,600 students and stressed that the state will continue to provide funding for such purposes.
The reception and award ceremony was also attended by Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begović.
