In order to enable the unhindered supply of petroleum products to the market and preserve the living standards of citizens, the Serbian government made a decision to temporarily reduce the amount of excise duty on certain petroleum products by 10 percent.
At the session, a decision was made on the temporary extension of the ban on the export of Euro diesel EN 590 until 7 January of the following year, while the decision on the temporary ban on the export and taking out of natural gas will be valid for another month.
In order to mitigate the consequences and prevent a critical shortage of milk and milk products, and due to increased exports and the need to supply the population, the ban on the export of these goods has been extended for another month and will last until 31 January of the following year.
The government also adopted the Bill on Confirmation of the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Serbia on the participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Erasmus+ programme - the European Union's programme for education, training, youth and sports, given that maintaining full participation in that programme is one of the obligations of Serbia on its way to full membership in the EU.
The Decision on the formation of the Coordinating Body for the Suppression of the Gray Economy was adopted, which provided the conditions for further effective implementation of the measures provided for in the Programme for the Suppression of the Gray Economy and activities from the Action Plan.
Experts from certain fields, as well as representatives of other bodies, can participate in the work of the Coordination Body, upon invitation, when topics from their scope are discussed.
The government also adopted the Decision on the formation of the Coordination Commission for harmonisation, that is, the coordination of inspection supervision in the Republic of Serbia due to the formation of new ministries whose competence is inspection supervision. The reason for making the Decision on the formation of this commission is more comprehensive and effective supervision and avoiding overlapping and unnecessary repetition of supervision.
