The government adopted at today’s session a Conclusion on consent to undertaking the necessary activities to organise the “One People, One Serbia” event, which will be held in Arilje from 13 to 15 December this year.
The event represents the continuity of state-building and responsible policy and an important segment in strengthening the ties between the mother country and the diaspora and is a true contribution to the preservation of the cultural, national and religious identity of the Serbian people wherever they live.
The development and preservation of cultural, sports and educational traditions are a serious contribution to acquiring and possessing awareness of one’s own origin, roots and belonging to one’s own people.
They are also a good basis for getting to know the homeland and people, acquiring new acquaintances, friends, new knowledge and skills, as well as establishing a lasting bridge for establishing ties, understanding and cooperation, the Conclusion states.
Under the Conclusion, funds in the amount of RSD 13,000,000 have been allocated to the Domestic Violence Counselling Centre - Shelter for Victims of Domestic Violence - Safe House Belgrade, as assistance for the regular work and safe stay of its users.
