Financial support programme for young business beginners established

The Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted at its session today the Decree on the Method of Using and Purchasing Bi-Alphabetic, Cyrillic-Latin Keyboards, aimed at ensuring the efficient and sustainable implementation of all provisions of the Law on the Use of the Serbian Language in Public Life and the Protection and Preservation of the Cyrillic Script by making such keyboards mandatory.

At the initiative of the Ministry of Culture, the government adopted a decision suspending the implementation of fees adopted by the Organisation for the Exercise of Reprographic Rights, as a result of which public libraries will no longer be required to pay a fee of RSD 15 per borrowed book copy.

Furthermore, the government adopted a Conclusion on Establishing a Financial Support Programme for Young Business Beginners.

This programme is designed to encourage all types of employment, including through business creation and survival and creating conditions for the economic empowerment of young people and their retention in the country.

Members of the government adopted an amended decision on road tolls for the use of public roads, parts thereof and road facilities, which applies to the newly built section of the Morava Corridor.

The government adopted decisions on handing awards for outstanding contributions to national and minority cultures to a total of 24 artists and cultural experts.
