The Serbian government adopted today the Regulation on the conditions and manner of awarding and using funds to encourage the improvement of tourist traffic of domestic tourists on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

The Serbian government adopted today the Regulation on the conditions and manner of awarding and using funds to encourage the improvement of tourist traffic of domestic tourists on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
This regulation enables the awarding of 100,000 vouchers for subsidised holidays in the country, with their maximum value being increased from RSD 5,000 to RSD 10,000.
Citizens can start applying for the vouchers on 15 January 2024 at the counters of the Public Company "Post of Serbia" throughout the country.
The government adopted the Decree on financial support for dual education, which prescribes conditions for subsidising a part of the work-based learning allowance that employers pay to students, in an amount that cannot exceed 50 percent of the minimum work-study allowance with related contributions in accordance with the law.
The competition, which is announced by the Office for Dual Education and the National Qualifications Framework, determines educational profiles in dual education where students are trained for deficit occupations for which employers in dual education can apply in order to exercise the right to a subsidy.
At the session, the government adopted the Conclusion on the continuation of implementation of the Project "Serbia for Serbs from the region", which foresees the awarding of 80 new scholarships to members of the Serbian national community from the countries of the region for school year 2023-2024.
It was decided that these scholarships will be awarded to Serbian communities in the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Croatia, Romania, the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Hungary.
Government members passed the Decision on the formation of the Commission for Capital Investments, considering that a large number and value of capital investments in Serbia are in the planning, preparation or implementation phase.
In order to prevent major disruptions on the market and preserve the living standards of the population, government members adopted an amendment to the Regulation on limiting the price of petroleum products, which will be valid until 28 January of the following year.
