Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begović attended today the largest pitching event in the country, which aims to select the 24 most promising Serbian startups that will be presented in the Serbian pavilion at the prestigious Web Summit 2024 in Lisbon, one of the biggest technology events in the world.

Begović stated that through the applications it was once again confirmed that our community recognises and values innovation, and at the same time expressed her gratitude to everyone for their persistence, courage and great ideas.
Out of a total of 84 startups that applied for this programme, 50 of them made it to the final stage based on a public vote in which more than 5,500 people participated, who watched video presentations on the Web Summit Serbia website.
