Minister of European Integration Tanja Miščević emphasised today that the goal of the EU Opportunity Week is to effectively present the various ways citizens can participate in projects implemented in cooperation with the EU, which can bring substantial benefits.

During the closing event in Niš, certificates were awarded to nine grant recipients from the second call for proposals under the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Serbia – North Macedonia 2016-2020, totalling €2 million. Miščević highlighted project implementation rates of 96% and 98% for the previous two calls, reinforcing the importance of continuing these initiatives.
Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Emanuele Giaufret expressed his belief that no one works for Serbia as much as the EU, noting that Serbia will receive €1.5 billion through reforms from the Union under the Growth Plan in the next three years.
