Prime Minister Miloš Vučević spoke today with representatives of culture unions about the position of employees in this sector and various aspects related to funding and the status of employees.
The Prime Minister listened to the demands of the representatives of the unions regarding the increase in wages and pointed out that he is ready to reach a constructive and concrete proposal through discussions.
The representatives of the culture unions informed Prime Minister Vučević that a complete systematisation of jobs in this field, which has about 10,500 employees and whose average salary is below the national average, has been made and expressed readiness to solve outstanding issues through dialogue.
It was agreed to hold a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Culture in the coming days and come up with concrete proposals.
Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković also attended the meeting.
