Minister of Information and Telecommunications Dejan Ristić met with Head of the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade János Babity to discuss topics of particular importance for the improvement of the public information field in Serbia.

During the meeting, they discussed the most important topics concerning media pluralism, freedom of expression, compliance with national and international regulations and professional standards, as well as the safety of journalists.
The Minister informed Babity that in the first nine months of this year, a significantly lower number of cases of obstructing the work or endangering the safety of journalists was recorded in Serbia.
