Prime Minister Miloš Vučević attended today the breakthrough for the right tube of the Munjino Brdo tunnel on the Preljina-Požega section of the Miloš the Great motorway.
The event was also attended by Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesić and public road management company Putevi Srbije acting General Manager Zoran Drobnjak.
Vučević said that he expects the complete Pakovraće-Požega motorway section to be completed by St. Vitus Day, June 28 next year.
When we get to Požega, we have two directions – to Boljare in Montenegro, or to Kotroman in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Prime Minister said, noting that Serbia continues to press ahead with investments in major infrastructure projects.
The construction industry brings GDP growth, which creates conditions to raise wages and pensions, as well as to improve the standards for citizens. I am proud of the fact that Serbia is the country that builds the most motorways, Vučević concluded.
