Speaking at the Serbia-Japan Business Forum, Vučević noted that Serbia is a record holder in foreign direct investment, with two-thirds of all regional investments flowing into our country.
The Prime Minister also pointed out that the education system in Serbia is being developed in cooperation with businesses, particularly through dual education programmes, noting that reform has been carried out in the rule of law sector, which is very important for investors.
He said that the Serbian government aims to create a favourable and predictable business climate, pointing out that investors prioritise human resources – such as education, discipline and language skills – before infrastructure.
Vučević stressed the importance of maintaining peace and political stability, which is a prerequisite for all other activities.
Serbia’s policy is a policy of dialogue and advocacy for good regional cooperation, said the Prime Minister, adding that the state offers significant support to foreign companies that seek to invest in the country.
The Prime Minister invited Japanese companies to take advantage of Serbia’s geopolitical position, which provides duty-free access to a market of approximately 3 billion people and emphasised that Serbia has good economic relations with American, European, Asian and African countries.
