Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić said today, after a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, that Serbia's cooperation with that country will be even stronger in the future.
Đurić emphasised that Azerbaijan is a country that has always stood by Serbia when it comes to our territorial integrity and sovereignty.
He stated that we are actively working with Azerbaijan on the development of economic relations and cooperation in the field of energy, thanks to which the energy security of our country has increased incomparably in these turbulent times.
Our cooperation with Azerbaijan in the coming period will be even stronger and more intensive, said Đurić, adding that he also discussed with his Azerbaijani counterpart how to encourage tourist visits between the two countries.
Bayramov assessed that relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia are marked by excellent political dialogue and promising economic cooperation, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
According to him, the Azerbaijan-Serbia Strategic Cooperation Council has contributed to the development of relations between the two countries in many areas.
