Topić reached the silver with a jump of 1.95 metres, on her second attempt.
This is the first medal for the Serbian athlete at the European indoor championships.
Topić is the current European outdoor vice champion, since last year she won the silver medal at the European Championships in Rome with a jump of 1.97 metres.
