First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic announced last night that Togo is the 15th country to withdraw recognition of Kosovo's independence, noting that the withdrawal note was issued on 28 June.
Dacic, appearing on Pink Television, explained that on the day he wanted to release the information, Quint issued a statement urging Serbia to cease its activities to withdraw recognition.
He emphasised that our goal is for the number of countries that recognise Kosovo to fall below half of the UN member states, or below 97 countries.
According to Dacic, this will make official Pristina realise that it cannot act as it wants and that a mutual agreement between the two parties is necessary, rather than considering that the matter with Kosovo's independence is over because it is not.
Serbia will continue activities to withdraw Kosovo's recognition, Dacic said.
