Speaking at the Expo Osaka Launch event at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Mali emphasised that Serbia will present its economy and culture at the exhibition within its dedicated pavilion.
Serbia is the only country from the Western Balkans to have an independent pavilion at Expo 2025. We have invested significant resources and effort into this, and we already have 160 companies confirmed to participate, Mali stated.
He expressed confidence that Serbia’s participation in Expo 2025 would be beneficial for the country’s future, highlighting the event’s importance as a driver of economic growth and investment attraction, both from Japan and globally.
Expo is not just an exhibition – we will use this opportunity to present ourselves in the right way, but also to showcase the Leap into the Future – Serbia 2027 programme. This includes 323 projects across Serbia, including infrastructure improvements, the construction of hospitals, schools and kindergartens, as well as other initiatives aimed at improving citizens’ quality of life, Mali said.
At today’s event, a Partnership Agreement was signed between JTI Serbia and Cultrave for the promotion of Serbian culture at Serbia’s pavilion at Expo 2025.
