Mali pointed out that in just 15 months, since the foundation stone was laid, one of the most modern factories in the pharmaceutical industry has been built.
He explained that the factory currently employs approximately 100 workers, that 180 will be employed by the end of the year, while 350 people will find employment here at the end of the project.
The First Deputy Prime Minister, stating that this is an investment from Germany, conveyed that he received assurances from the investors that this factory was built to stay here, to serve their business interests, but also the citizens of Jagodina and Serbia.
Mali said that the packaging produced in the newly opened factory in Jagodina will be exported throughout Europe, stating that Serbia has the best, most educated and most capable workers and that it is precisely because of its people that the country progresses and moves forward.
The First Deputy Prime Minister, speaking about Serbia’s successes, said that for the first time in history we are among the countries that are the safest and most secure for investments, as well as that we are one of the three fastest growing economies in Europe.
According to him, through the programme “Leap into the Future - Serbia 2027”, projects will be implemented throughout our country, and a part of that programme is the Expo exhibition, which Serbia will host in 2027.
We expect that for the first time in history, in 2027, our GDP will exceed the level of €100 billion, Mali emphasised, and at the same time thanked the management of the company Schott Pharma for investing in Serbia.
