Director of the Tourist Organisation of Serbia Marija Labovic announced that as of today, Serbia is becoming part of the family of the prestigious Michelin gastronomic guide, and that it will be announced in December which restaurants received the most prestigious culinary award.
Labovic announced that the choice of Michelin will be known at the beginning of December when it comes to restaurants in Belgrade, but that does not mean that Michelin stars will not spread to other places in Serbia.
Joining Michelin's gastronomic selection will contribute to positioning Serbia as a gastronomic destination, she pointed out and added that Michelin's features improve the complete image of the destination in terms of tourism because they are a guarantee of the quality of service offered at the destination.
