Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with British Ambassador Sian Macleod about the epidemiological situation and measures taken by the two countries to control the infectious disease COVID-19, as well as overcoming the economic consequences of the epidemic.

Prime Minister Brnabic expressed her belief that the measures taken by the two countries will enable the difficult situation to be overcome, and the health and lives of citizens to be preserved.
She expressed interest in the course of development of the vaccine against the infectious disease COVID-19, estimating that the success of British experts working on it would significantly contribute to the fight against the virus.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the new government of Serbia is a government of economic and political continuity and advocated the deepening of political relations with the United Kingdom, which would contribute to strengthening cooperation in fields of mutual interest.
Ambassador Macleod said that the United Kingdom is especially focused on the development of economic and trade cooperation with Serbia, as well as on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
