Addressing reporters after a meeting at the Palace of Serbia, which was also attended by Outgoing Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković and Serbian Ambassador to Vienna Marko Blagojević, Vučević said that one of the central topics was the issue of everything that Serbia has been through in the past almost six months.
He expressed hope that the Serbian Embassy in Vienna and all these people who are in Belgrade today will be a cohesive factor for the Serbian people in Austria, regardless of whether they originate from Serbia or Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e., Republika Srpska or some other part of the former Yugoslavia.
The Prime Minister said that they can always rely on Serbia when they need help, in terms of preserving national-cultural identity issues, language, script, religion, but also solving administrative problems.
We understand the concern of Serbs from Austria for the fate of Serbia, but we told them to be less worried about preserving the state and state institutions, said Vučević, who expressed gratitude to Ambassador Blagojević for organising the “Serbian caravan”, which arrived in Belgrade from Vienna yesterday and continues to Banja Luka today.
The gathering, which was attended by about 50 Serbs from Vienna, was also addressed by Honorary Consul of Serbia in Linz Aleksandar Čenić and President of the Austrian-Serbian Society Wolfgang Rohrbach.
