Outgoing Prime Minister Miloš Vučević held a second meeting today with representatives of the Serbian Administration Union, where models for improving the financial status of employees in local self-government units were presented.
Vučević emphasised that the government has approached this issue with seriousness and expressed confidence that, in cooperation with the union, a sustainable solution for improving employees’ financial status will be reached.
He noted that the proposed models were developed with full consideration of employees’ needs, while also taking financial capacities into account.
Union representatives expressed satisfaction with the Prime Minister’s and the government’s serious approach to resolving this important issue and announced that they would conduct consultations in the coming days before taking a position on the proposed measures.
