The Office for Information Technology and e-Administration of the Government of the Republic of Serbia announced today that our country has become a member of the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU), which brings together European Union members as well as private partners with the aim of developing a super-computing eco-system in Europe.
The initiative, based in Luxembourg, was founded in 2018 by the European Commission and allows its members to coordinate their efforts and pool their resources to make Europe a world leader in super-computing.
This encourages Europe's scientific excellence and industrial strength, supports the digital transformation of its economy, while ensuring its technological sovereignty.
Serbia’s accession to such an important initiative enables our scientific and research community to use the resources of this National Platform for Artificial Intelligence, which is located in the State Data Centre in Kragujevac, as well as to participate in new projects aimed at further development of artificial intelligence and super-computing.
