Serbia and Azerbaijan have signed seven bilateral agreements today in Belgrade, as part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to our country.
The Presidents of Serbia and Azerbaijan, Aleksandar Vucic and Ilham Aliyev, signed, after the meeting of delegations at the highest level, a Joint Statement confirming common interests for deepening the strategic partnership between Serbia and Azerbaijan, as well as the Memorandum on the Establishment of the Council for Strategic Partnership of Serbia and Azerbaijan.
An Agreement on readmission was also signed, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan on the recognition of authorisations in accordance with Regulation 1/10 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), 1978, with amendments thereto.
The signed documents also include the Administrative Agreement for the Implementation of the Agreement between the government of Serbia and the government of Azerbaijan on Social Security and the Memorandum of Understanding between the Development Agency of Serbia and the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises of Azerbaijan.
Also, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments of Azerbaijan and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
