In the past few years, we have worked on several projects involving telemedicine, and since last year we also focused on projects concerning the use of artificial intelligence in medicine in order to increasingly develop personalised medicine, improve the health care of our people, especially those suffering from rare diseases, she stated.
The Prime Minister expressed her gratitude to the Japanese company for recognising Serbia as a country that invests in new technologies, but also as one of, as she said, Europe's most important forces in research, development and innovation.
Brnabic said that she will work on Takeda’s opening a research and development centre in Serbia, as well as being one of the first partners within the BIO4 campus.
According to her, investments from Japan have a special place in the business world of Serbia, because investments are made where it is safest and where there are the best business conditions.
