Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with representatives of the American-Central European Business Association (ACEBA) about the possibilities of improving cooperation and new investments.
In addition to President of the ACEBA Eric Stewart, the meeting was attended by representatives of 16 US companies, as well as representatives of the association.
Brnabic pointed out that the United States is one of the largest foreign investors in Serbia and stated that during the past decade the economic relations between the two countries have been on the rise, but also that there are opportunities for new investments and the improvement of trade exchange.
The Prime Minister presented the priorities of the government's work, underlining that the key sectors are energy, economy, agriculture, health, infrastructure and information technology.
She also presented the economic, technological and investment potentials of our country.
The Prime Minister emphasised that it is necessary to focus on the development of artificial intelligence that can be applied in various fields, from healthcare to the automotive industry.
It is in Serbia's interest to develop economic cooperation with the members of this association, which will occupy an important place in the dialogue with the United States, Brnabic said.
According to her, Serbia will continue to work successfully on improving bilateral relations with the United States.
Representatives of the US companies presented the Prime Minister with opportunities and expressed their interest in cooperation in economic areas suitable for investment, business conditions, especially the potentials and prospects in Serbia and the region as a whole, as well as the placement of products on the markets of countries with which Serbia has signed free trade agreements.
