At a joint press conference after a meeting with President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, Vučević emphasised that, despite the challenges they face, the leaderships of Serbia and Republika Srpska continue to hold regular joint meetings, recalling that President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met with Dodik in Belgrade yesterday.
The Prime Minister underlined that Serbia has been exposed to incredible pressure in the past four months, while at the same time a staged trial is taking place against the leadership of Republika Srpska.
He branded the verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina against President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik as a verdict against entire Republika Srpska.
Dodik reiterated the gratitude of Republika Srpska to the Serbian leadership for its support for the Dayton Peace Agreement, as well as for its support for various projects.
Dodik underlined that, thanks to cooperation with Serbia, work is underway on infrastructural connectivity and cited the construction of the road from Rača to Bijeljina as an example.
He stated that Serbia has allocated a significant portion of the funds and agreed to build the entire bridge in Rača, as well as the road from Kuzmin to Rača, assessing that this will be a great success in infrastructural connectivity.
President of Republika Srpska conveyed his gratitude to Serbia for the support and visits of Serbian officials who are always welcome in Republika Srpska, and explained that financial support for Republika Srpska is important, but also that the visits are of great importance.
Dodik assessed that the situation in Serbia needs to stabilise as soon as possible and that the ongoing blockades are undermining the stability and power of the country, while causing great damage to the economy.
He stressed that Republika Srpska supports the Serbian leadership led by President Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister Miloš Vučević.
