Prime Minister Miloš Vučević met today with representatives of the Democratic Alliance of Serbs from Croatia – President Srđan Milaković and Secretary General Siniša Ljubojević.
In a cordial conversation, the guests informed the Prime Minister about the position of Serbs in Croatia, the current political situation, the challenges they face, proposals for improving their position and modalities for improving cooperation between the Serb people in Croatia and the motherland Serbia.
Representatives of the Democratic Alliance of Serbs highlighted their unreserved support for the policy of President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, as well as their full support for him personally, and emphasised that they fully stand by the Government of the Republic of Serbia and its legal institutions, condemning all attempts to violently overthrow the democratically elected authorities in the country.
They emphasised how much Belgrade has done in the last 12 years to improve the position of the Serb people in Croatia, and underlined that the level of support in the aforementioned period was incomparably higher than before 2012.
Vučević expressed gratitude to his interlocutors for these statements and emphasised that the Republic of Serbia will always be there to help the Serb people in Croatia, so that our compatriots can exercise all their rights, in accordance with the highest European standards.
