Prime Minister Miloš Vučević said today in East Sarajevo that all peoples and states in the region should preserve peace and stability, while cultivating greater mutual respect and understanding.
Following his visit to the Memorial Complex dedicated to the Serb civilian victims in the Sarajevo-Romanija region, Vučević emphasised that the Dayton Agreement, which was signed 30 years ago, remains the best framework not only for Bosnia and Herzegovina but for the entire region, noting that this is Serbia’s position and policy.
We believe that all peoples and all states in this region must safeguard peace and focus more on each other, said the Prime Minister, adding that the Balkan peoples should listen to one another more rather than external influences dictating how they should live.
He also expressed pride in the projects jointly developed and built by Serbia, in cooperation with the leadership and people of Republika Srpska, noting that he would like Sarajevo to invest in Serbia in a similar manner, where it has a need and interest.
The Prime Minister confirmed that Serbia is absolutely interested in implementing the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway construction project, together with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
