Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Coordinating Body for Gender Equality and Minister of Culture Maja Gojkovic is participating in the 67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York.
Gojkovic will address the general discussion at the opening, whereas ministerial round tables, general discussion and interactive dialogues are scheduled during the meeting at the United Nations.
During this session, priority issues and topics will be discussed, one of which is "Innovation, technological change and education in the digital age to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls".
Also, the topic related to challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls, contained in the agreed conclusions from 2018, will be discussed.
During the session of the Commission for the Status of Women, the participants will consider the monitoring of the resolutions and decisions of the Economic and Social Council, as well as the report of the Working Group for Communications on the position of women.
