First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic today expressed his sincere condolences on the death of Istvan Pastor to his family and the Association of Vojvodina Hungarians.
"It was with great sadness that I received the news that Istvan Pastor, a friend and tireless fighter for the progress of Serbia as a modern and tolerant community of all its citizens and peoples, has left us.
With his wisdom and great energy, Istvan Pastor led the Hungarian national community in Serbia through cooperation and togetherness, which will be remembered as his historical legacy. Serbia was richer with Istvan Pastor and his work, so his departure will leave an indelible mark, but also an obligation for all of us to continue living in harmony and commitment to the progress and future of Serbia.
I express my sincere condolences to the family of Istvan Pastor and his Association of Vojvodina Hungarians," Dacic said.
