Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin met today, during his official visit to Moscow, with the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Police General Vladimir Kolokoltsev.
The interlocutors assessed that cooperation between Serbia and the Russian Federation in the field of security is at a high level.
Kolokoltsev informed the Deputy Prime Minister about attempts to introduce restrictions on Russia's participation in international police organizations, and especially about attempts to exclude it from Interpol.
Vulin pointed out that the fight against transnational crime cannot be successful without the participation of the Russian Federation and that measures directed against Russia harm the interests of the fight against crime and reduce the effectiveness of confronting transnational criminal groups.
