Spain's football players won a record fourth European Championship title, after defeating the English national team tonight in the final of the European Championship in Berlin with a score of 2:1.

After 1964, 2008 and 2012, Spain is again the best on the "old continent", and with the fourth cup it became the most trophy-winning team of all time, ahead of Germany, which has three titles (1972, 1980 and 1996).
England became the first team to lose two consecutive European finals, as they lost to Italy on penalties at home three years ago.
