The Ministry of Information and Telecommunications condemned in harshest terms the attack on journalist of daily Politika Biljana Radomirović and journalist of weekly Jedinstvo Zoran Vlašković, which took place near the main bridge between southern and northern Kosovska Mitrovica.

According to the statement by the Ministry, a citizen of Albanian nationality physically attacked the journalists, who were on duty, and he threw a glass bottle at journalist Radomirović, which led to bodily injuries.
This latest case is just one more in a series of incidents aimed at hindering or completely preventing the work of Serbian journalists in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija.
Such practice, which is absolutely unacceptable, clearly indicates the real attitude of the temporary authorities in Priština towards all Serbs, who are at this specific moment subjected to particularly intensified systematic persecution and all kinds of violence.
