The Olympic team of the Republic of Serbia, led by the flag bearers, volleyball player Maja Ognjenović and water polo player Dušan Mandić, paraded along the Seine River at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris.
Our team will be represented by 113 athletes in 15 sports, and at the opening the flag was carried by volleyball player Ognjenović, who is in her fifth Paris Games, and water polo player Mandić, a two-time Olympic champion, who will participate in the Games for the fourth time.
Serbia will try to win at least 10 medals and thus break the record from Tokyo in 2021, when nine medals were won – three gold, one silver and five bronze.
