The Paralympic Committee of Serbia stated that the silver medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris was returned to Paralympian Nebojša Đurić, after a review of the results of his performance.
Đurić, who is one of our most outstanding paraathletes, was initially disqualified due to a procedural error, but after careful consideration of the situation, justice was served.
The expert team led by President of the Paralympic Committee Zoran Mićović advocated for this correction.
Unfortunately, due to his impaired health caused by stress, on the advice of his doctor, Nebojsa Đurić gave up further competition and returned to Belgrade.
