At the ceremony at the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade, which was also attended by government ministers, Vučević said that the issue of continuity is not only a legal, political and technical issue, but also an issue of identity.
According to him, Serbia's position in the world today is stable and respected, mostly thanks to its ability to preserve traditional values, while modernising the society and the state.
He said that the government will continue to support and care for the family and added that he expects that a new law will be adopted very soon, which will provide support for the first-born in the amount of RSD 500,000, while RSD 3,180,000 for the fourth child.
This is a very important step towards the preservation of our people and the family as the pillar and foundation of our society, Vučević highlighted and noted that a complete analysis of all 59 maternity hospitals in Serbia was made at the initiative of the President of Serbia.
Speaking about finances, he pointed out that the economy in Serbia is developing and that financial stability enables greater growth and prosperity.
He specified that in the first quarter, GDP growth was 4.7%, and according to the first estimates, it will be 4.2% in the second quarter.
According to him, the goal is for the average salary in Serbia to be €927 by the end of 2024, or €1,400 by the end of 2027.
We expect pensions to grow by at least 10%, and I believe that we will have the economic and financial strength and stability to do so, Vučević said.
Vučević repeated that there is no security without environmental protection, and that it is our obligation to create and preserve quality life for every individual in the country.
As the next priority, the Prime Minister highlighted healthcare, and in this context, he announced the acquisition of new equipment.
Also, the Prime Minister noted that the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs has opened a new gerontology centre in Valjevo, as well as that the construction of another facility in Kikinda is underway, and that the ministry plans to deal with topics related to veteran rights.
He also referred to the first 100 days of work of the Ministry for Rural Care, which awarded the jubilee 3000th house to a single mother with three children in the village of Simićevo, near Žagubica.
During the first 100 days of work, a lot has been done in the sector of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, the Prime Minister pointed out and told the citizens that everyone in the defence system is working carefully to strengthen our military and defence capacities.
We are especially proud of our defence industry, which is not only competitive on the international market, but above all is required and focused on supplying our army with products that guarantee our safety and security, the Prime Minister said.
Vučević emphasised that the signing of the Free Trade Agreement with China ensured that Serbian businesspeople could market their products more easily and competitively on the market of 1.4 billion consumers.
We also signed the Free Trade Agreement with Egypt, we are negotiating with South Korea and a large number of African, Asian and South American countries, he noted.
He also announced greater investments in education, not only in infrastructure, but also in terms of educational personnel.
Economy has 10 new incentive programmes for small, micro and medium enterprises, Vučević said.
He said that the progress of the country is related to infrastructure projects that were done in the previous period and that will be worked on, stating that 643 km of new roads are under construction at this moment alone.
In addition to the road infrastructure, the railway infrastructure is being worked on, and the high-speed railway to Subotica will be completed by the end of the year, the relocation of the railway from the centre of Niš, then the Niš-Dimitrovgrad railway, while we are working with the European Union on the southern branch of the high-speed railway from Belgrade to Niš, and then further towards Leskovac and Vranje.
The Prime Minister reminded of the opening of science and technology parks, and especially thanked all the young competitors at the Science Olympiads, because they are the future of our country.
Referring to sports, Vučević said that the construction of the National Stadium is underway, that stadiums have been built in Zaječar, Loznica, Leskovac, while the stadium in Novi Sad is being reconstructed.
According to him, all this is the progress of Serbia and all these segments will be worked on in the future.
