Prime Minister Miloš Vučević attended today the ceremonial closing of the Serbian House in Paris.
On that occasion, Vučević assessed that Paris has undoubtedly been the centre of the world over the past 16 days, and that we decided to open the Serbian House right here, in the place where the whole world gathered the Olympic flame as the light of the world, as a thought of peace and progress.
In that centre of the world, in one place in just one house, the Serbian people wanted to open their souls to all peoples, open their arms and embrace all well-intentioned people, as our brothers and sisters. And that is our national philosophy, logic, that is our mentality. To have our own free and benevolent, friendly and virtuous, honest house in the community of all the peoples of the world, and that house of ours is called Serbia, Vučević added.
Yesterday in Paris, the Prime Minister followed the match of basketball players of Serbia against Germany in the duel for the bronze medal, and today he played an x-ox match via video link from the Serbian House in Paris with the Serbian rower Nikolaj Pimenov, who played from the centre of Belgrade.
Vučević and Pimenov competed through the interactive, virtual activation that connects Paris and Belgrade "Window to the Expo 2027", with the aim of promoting the upcoming "Expo" in Belgrade in 2027, whose exact main theme will be the game.
Vučević will attend the final of the Olympic water polo tournament between Serbia and Croatia today, and tonight he will be at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris.
The closing ceremony of the Serbian House in Paris was attended by Minister of Sport Zoran Gajić, President of the Olympic Committee of Serbia, Božidar Maljković, Ambassador of Serbia to France Ana Hrustanović, and numerous Serbian athletes.
