The President of France was welcomed at Matica Srpska by Vojvodina Prime Minister Maja Gojković and Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković, and the delegation was presented the history and biography of this cultural institution by Tijana Palkovljević Bugarski, manager of the Matica Srpska Gallery.
Vučić and Macron signed the Book of Honoured Guests of Matica Srpska Gallery.
Vučević expressed his satisfaction and pride because the President of France, during his two-day official visit to Serbia, chose to visit Novi Sad and one of the most important cultural institutions of the Serbs.
The Gallery of Matica Srpska presents in a new and unique way the collection of national art of Serbia from the 18th to the 20th century, he pointed out and said that we continue to develop the centuries-old French-Serbian cultural cooperation.
