President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić welcomed in front of the Palace of Serbia with the highest state honours President of the Republic of Burundi Évariste Ndayishimiye, who is on an official visit to Serbia until 14 March.
A ceremonial welcome was organised for the President of Burundi, with a guard of honour of the Serbian Armed Forces Guard and the playing of the anthems of Burundi and Serbia.
The President of Burundi was also welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dačić and Ministers Marko Đurić, Slavica Đukić Dejanović, Dejan Ristić, Aleksandar Martinović and Nenad Popović.
After the ceremonial welcome, a meeting of the two presidents is planned.
A plenary meeting of the delegations of Serbia and the Republic of Burundi led by President Vučić and President Ndayishimiye is also planned, as well as an exchange of signed agreements in the presence of the presidents of the two countries, who will then address the media.
