President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, together with President of France Emmanuel Macron, at the end of his two-day visit to Serbia, unveiled today a plaque marking the completion of works on the modernisation of Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade.

At the airport, which is managed by French company Vinci Airports, Vučić pointed out that this airport had a 13 percent increase in the number of passengers in the first six months of this year and voiced the expectation that this year the number of passengers will exceed nine million.
He emphasised that the Belgrade airport today is completely different, more modern and with more facilities, and this would not have happened without the huge investment and the envisaged €730 million, which the French company was obliged to pay according to the contract.
Macron expressed his satisfaction with everything that has been done at Nikola Tesla Airport and with the fact that today it looks modern and has an international dimension.
The President of France wrapped up his two-day visit to Serbia and was seen off from Nikola Tesla Airport by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.
