The Serbian delegation learned about the activities of the institute, which is globally recognised for its work in the areas of intellectual property protection, competitiveness and innovation policy.
The minister said that during the meeting they discussed the most important issue – the ethics of using artificial intelligence and the status of "innovator" that it can have, given that it is an algorithm that is capable of creating innovative ideas and solutions.
The minister invited the institute’s representatives to participate in the Serbia-Bavaria science and innovation forum in February next year, which will be organised for the first time in Belgrade.
