Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić met today, at the beginning of his official visit to Greece, with a delegation of the Greece-Serbia Friendship Group in the Hellenic Parliament, led by Chairman of the Group Christos Boukoros.
The interlocutors agreed that Serbia and Greece are bound by strong friendship, mutual trust, historically confirmed closeness and solidarity of the two peoples.
The head of Serbian diplomacy said that Greece is Serbia’s key strategic partner and ally in the Balkans.
The Minister told his interlocutors that the issue of Kosovo and Metohija is of the highest national and state importance for Serbia, and that Serbia will in no way recognise the unilaterally declared independence of “Kosovo”.
He expressed gratitude for the consistent support that Greece provides to Serbia on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija and in European integration, which is Serbia’s key foreign policy priority.
