EIB’s further support for Serbia’s science, innovation development discussed

Highlighting the importance of previous cooperation, Begović recalled that since 2010, EIB Global has provided financial and technical assistance of €11 billion to the region, playing a key role in the development of science and innovation in Serbia.
The Minister particularly emphasised the completion of the project for the construction and equipping of the Centre of Excellence at the University of Kragujevac, which was partially financed through an EIB loan.
Head of the EIB Regional Hub for the Western Balkans Damien Sorrell praised the cooperation with Serbia and expressed the EIB’s readiness to continue supporting the country in the further development of science and innovation.
