Outgoing Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Aleksandar Martinović pointed out today during talks with representatives of the World Bank that the Serbia Competitive Agriculture Project has achieved exceptional results.
During a meeting with the World Bank’s Regional Manager, Agriculture & Food for Europe and Central Asia Holger Kray and Country Manager for Serbia Nicola Pontara, Martinović said that the project, which has been implemented since 2021, has so far supported more than 1,350 business plans in 144 municipalities, with a total value of over $50 million.
He announced that the ranking list is expected to be published within the framework of the Third Public Call for Applications for Determining the Right to Use of Grants.
According to him, this joint project of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the World Bank will provide assistance and support to almost all sectors in agriculture.
